This is the most common question prospective clients ask us. And here we’ll guide you through some details so you can make a more informed decision when booking with us!

The island of Sicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean and the sheer size of 9924 sq miles with over 1450 km of coastline, coupled with a mostly hilly terrain, would require a minimum of a month to traverse and explore in detail. We took the strategic decision to divide the island in 2 parts: we tour either along the Western & Northern coasts with Palermo as a starting point or along the Eastern & Southern Coast with Catania as the departure city.

Both tours are designed to be nearly identical day-by-day in terms of activities and itinerary. Whatever itinerary you choose, you will be treated to a street food tour in one of the major markets in the big cities, a wine tasting experience, visits to archeological sites and local farms, attendance of a live performance, cooking lessons with Chef Alessandro in our villa, a beach trip and dinner at a Michelin Star restaurant.

We recommend that you look into the main locations listed in each itinerary and decide which one sounds more interesting personally to you. If you are curios about how the Arab-Norman culture influenced the food and architecture in this part of Italy, along with visiting the largest archeological Ancient Greek site in Europe, then Palermo & Beyond tour is made for you. If you are more inclined to visit the famous town of Taormina, Mount Etna and the Baroque towns in the south-east, then Catania & Beyond is calling your name!

WHAT ABOUT OTHER OPTIONS IN ADDITION TO THE SIGNATURE TOURS?

In addition to our signature tours on the pre-determined dates and itineraries, we offer custom-made small group groups tours!

We can plan and organize a custom trip for you and your family, friends or co-workers on any available date we may have, including tours that combine both parts of the island! Contact us so that we can gather some basic information, and we will send you a custom proposal with a link, which you can share with your group.

A minimum of 6 people is required to organize a private tour with us. You will have the option to choose a convenient date in July or August 2024 for your group tours. If space and time permits, we may have some dates available for both May and September 2024.

WHERE ARE WE GOING TO STAY?

You will be staying in a beautiful Sicilian villa in a central location during the whole trip, undertaking daily trips from there. You will unpack only once and you will be able to enjoy the benefits of the villa and surrounding area like a local.

Each villa is located at the periphery of a town, allowing easy access on your time off. Our villas come equipped with air conditioning, a swimming pool, garden, common area space & modern security. All the rooms have an ensuite bathroom.

More information on occupancy is available for each particular itinerary once we are closer to the date.

​WHAT’S INCLUDED?

All Itineraries include street food & market tours, cooking with Chef Alessandro in the villa, savoring fine dining dishes in Michelin star restaurants, visiting wineries & farms and enjoying  all the bounty of what a Sicilian table can offer. Chef Alessandro will be sharing his culinary knowledge along the way, creating context for an authentic experience. He will be also teaching you how to cook his favourite recipes, helping you bring Sicily back home with you.

There will also be time for discovering historical sights and the amazing art, architecture and museums of Sicily. We will be also visiting blue beaches, picturesque mountain towns or simply relaxing by the pool.

Our private driver will provide professional transportation on daily basis and you will also benefit from the knowledge of all local experts on the island, from tour guides in the big cities to farm owners in the mountains.
